Ahura Mazda (“Lord of Wisdom”) is the supreme deity of Zoroastrianism, the one uncreated, eternal God and source of all good. He is the creator of the universe, the embodiment of Asha (truth/righteousness), and the father of the twin spirits Holy Spirit (Spenta Mainyu) and Evil Spirit (Angra Mainyu). Zoroaster (Zarathustra) received the divine revelation from Ahura Mazda.
